Year 5 pupils at Redstart Primary School have stepped back in time by dressing up as Victorian children and discovering what life was like during the era.
The special learning experience gave pupils the opportunity to explore the past in an engaging and memorable way.
Dressed in Victorian-style clothing, the children immersed themselves in the period, learning about how people lived, what children wore and how everyday life differed from today.
Through their Victorian-themed activities, pupils developed their understanding of this important period in British history, bringing their classroom learning to life and encouraging curiosity about the past.
The day provided a fun and interactive way for children to deepen their historical knowledge while imagining what life might have been like for children growing up in Victorian times.
A spokesperson for Redstart Primary School said: “It was wonderful to see our Year 5 pupils embrace the Victorian era with such enthusiasm.
“Dressing up helped bring history to life and gave the children a fantastic opportunity to explore how life has changed over time.
“Experiences like this make learning memorable, engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved.”
