Values

Our underlying values – respect, compassion, purpose and honesty – are explored through exciting, interactive and relevant collective worship sessions each week. These ideas are then followed up in class, and lived through our ethos based on a shared understanding of following The Redstart Way which helps everyone to live and learn well together.

Follow The Redstart Way

At Redstart, we support our children to follow our values through a set of understood rules and values that we refer to as The Redstart Way. Click here for our The Redstart Way poster which is displayed throughout the school. Children can earn house points for following these rules and then house point totals are celebrated regularly in assemblies. Winning houses at the end of terms and the end of the year receive rewards such as extra playtime, wearing non-uniform and eating ice lollies. At Redstart, we have high expectations of behaviour and we are proud of our children who demonstrate their good understanding of our values every day.
