We run a Breakfast club from 7.45 am each morning and Tea Club runs daily until 5.30pm. We are as flexible as possible with timings but it is important that you book your child on. Please ensure that you book your child in for breakfast club by 3pm the previous day. Contact the school office to find out more details.
Payments can be made online using Parentmail. To use the service you will need a login. If you have not got this please speak to the school reception who will be able to help you.
There are a variety of after school clubs offered each term. A letter goes home early each term indicating what is on offer. There are usually a variety of clubs on offer each term. Parents need to sign pupils up for clubs and indicate how pupils will be collected at the end of the club. Slips are included in the clubs letters. If you miss the letter further copies are available from the school office or on our website.
The Redstart Primary School offer a well supported Breakfast Club for children aged 3-11 years old. Breakfast Club sessions run from 7.45am until 8.50 where children can enjoy a wholesome breakfast, access a variety of activities and get themselves ready for the day ahead. Children from Nursery through to year 4 are then escorted to their classes while year 5 and 6 pupils take themselves to their classes for a prompt start.
There are two registers for Breakfast Club depending on whether your child attends the school or nursery. We also offer a discount of 5% per child when you book one or more siblings into the same time slot. (The 5% discount is available for children who attend nursery and / or school.)

*Children are to arrive at the school hall (outside door). Younger children up to year 2 must be accompanied and handed over to the school leaders, older children must not be left unattended until Breakfast Club commences at 7:45am or 8:00am dependant of slot booked.
*Please do not use the car park to drop children off.

The Redstart Primary School offer a well supervised Tea Club facility for children aged 3-11 years old. The Tea Club provision runs from 15.15pm until 17.30pm. Children can attend short sessions until 16.15pm, later sessions from 16.15pm until 17.30pm or full sessions. They are offered a light snack and drink to keep them going until home time. There is plenty to do during these sessions; crafting and games are always popular, but outdoor play, trips to the park and picnics are seasoned favourites too!
Tea club offers two registers for Nursery children and 3 Registers for School Children.

*There are always a minimum of 2 adults in Tea Club, occasionally teaching assistants may also cover and help out on busy days.
*Some activities will take place outside and occasionally off of the school premises, for instance in the play park weather permitting.
*If children have any homework there are opportunities for this to be completed, we also try to find time to listen to the children read.
*Parents may collect their children at any time from the hall.

*Sessions close at 5:30pm, for any children who are not collected at this point there will be a late collection charge added to ParentMail of £10.00.

At Redstart, we know that close relationships are built between children, their friends and also their teachers. We aim to encourage and build these further by providing a range of clubs to suit all interests.
We run a range of lunchtime and after school clubs which change termly. A list of them and an application form giving permission for your child to attend is sent out when the clubs change. Apply quickly, as popular activities tend to fill up and we will let you know if your child doesn’t have a place.
If your child no longer wishes to attend please send a note or speak to the member of staff who runs the club. We cannot release children early on a club day unless we have confirmation from you that they are not attending.
If we have to cancel a club unexpectedly we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
