Redstart pupils embrace adventure on residential trip

Pupils from Redstart Primary School had an unforgettable residential visit to Kilve Court Residential Centre in Somerset, where they embraced the great outdoors, challenged themselves and created lasting memories.

Set between the beautiful Quantock Hills and the Somerset coast, Kilve Court provided the perfect backdrop for adventure, teamwork and personal development.

Throughout their stay, pupils took part in a wide range of exciting activities designed to build confidence, resilience, teamwork and cooperation.

Among the highlights were abseiling, climbing, blindfolded obstacle courses, team-building exercises and a scenic three-mile hike through the stunning Somerset countryside. The group also enjoyed a walk to Kilve Beach, taking in the area’s beautiful coastal scenery.

The residential experience encouraged pupils to step outside their comfort zones, support one another and develop valuable life skills, all while having fun and making new friendships.

A spokesperson for Redstart Primary School said: “The residential visit to Kilve Court was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to challenge themselves, try new activities and grow in confidence.

“We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another, worked as a team and embraced every opportunity.

“The memories they have made and the skills they have developed will stay with them long after the trip.”
