It was scrum down at Redstart Primary School when Chard Rugby Club visited the school to put on a fantastic coaching session for pupils.
With enthusiastic coaches and great energy from the pupils, the session saw children take part in a variety of drills and exercises throughout the session.
From throwing and catching the ball to running with the ball and developing their rugby skills, pupils enjoyed an action-packed session.
The coaches praised the pupils for their great effort, enthusiasm and listening skills, making the session a brilliant opportunity for children to get active, try something new and engage with a local rugby club.
A spokesperson for the academy said: “It was fantastic to see our pupils getting involved with such enthusiasm.
“The coaches from Chard Rugby Club were brilliant at encouraging the children, and it was wonderful to see them developing new skills while having lots of fun.
“We are very grateful to the club for providing such a positive and memorable experience for our pupils.”
